Car trips offer families time.  Use the time wisely & you can build into your kids & create lasting memories.  We recently had fun getting to know our kids better by simply playing a question game that I called "Get To Know Ya".

Below are some fun questions to ask your kids on a roadtrip.

  • If you could be Batman or Superman, who would you choose and why?
  • What was the happiest day of your life?
  • What is the funniest thing that happened to you this week?
  • If you could have a bag of M&Ms or a bag of Skittles, which would you choose & why?
  • What is the best swimming pool you've ever swam in?
  • Describe your ultimate adventure.
  • Would you rather hike up a mountain or ski down one?
  • If you could be Strawberry Shortcake or Angelina Balerina, which would you choose and why?
  • Who is the best Disney princess?  Why?
  • What is the greatest movie of all time?
  • What is the best book you've ever read?
  • If you had to get a job right now, would you rather be a waiter or work at the grocery store?  Why?
  • If Daddy got a different job, what would you want him to do?
  • If you could create your own holiday, what would it be?
  • Describe your dream treehouse.
  • What would the best ice cream sundae have on it?
  • Describe your dream vacation.  Who would you take with you?
  • If you were the principal of the school for a day, what would you do?

Be creative and ask your children questions about their interests.  Not only is it tons of fun to hear their answers, this game also builds your child's communication skills and boosts their creativity.  Have fun!
